For all you dedicated fracktivists coming from out of town, we are here to help you out! On this page, you will find everything you need to know about housing for Stop the Frack Attack. We will provide housing for the nights of July 25th, 26th, and 27th. We will not be providing housing on the night of the 28th (the night of the rally). This page will continually be updated as we get more people coming to Washington.
Step 1: Contact us if you need housing.

Send an e-mail with the number of people you are coming with and which nights you are coming (the 25th, 26th, and/or the 27th). We need to know how many people we will have on each night! Also, let us know if you have any special needs such as storage, etc.
Step 2: Agree to the ground rules. The housing coordinator will e-mail back a form to get your information and a list of ground rules that you will have to agree to in order to sleep in the church.
Step 3: Stay in touch. Let us know if your plans change or if more people decide to tag along with you!
Additional information: We will be sleeping on the floor of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church: 1525 Newton Street NW (Corner of 16th and Newton) Washington DC, 20010
Don’t forget a sleeping bag and everything else you’ll need to be comfortable. St. Stephen’s will not be able to provide storage during the day. It’s possible that we will only be allowed to enter the church as late as 10pm and will have to leave as early as 7am. We are responsible for being respectful and keeping the area and bathrooms clean.
Thrive DC allows people to use its showers from 7pm to midnight. The fee for showering is $1 per shower. They can also prepare meals for small groups for $5 per person. Arrangements will need to be made a week in advance so let us know! We will also e-mail you directions to all of the events if you need it.
We are in the process of attempting to find hotels that will let us block off rooms with out have to pay for them in advance, please check back here for more information.
